This is a scene from "Reality Check", a graphic novel in development based on a screenplay I wrote.

Our main character, Rob, is a deeply intellectual writer and advocate for people with serious mental health issues. He himself has learned to manage having schizophrenia. When he comes home from a long day to find his live-in girlfriend, JJ, in a pool of blood, he is instantly thrown into a psychotic bout with unseen voices that ravage his mind.
